Features

A, B, C and D Events

Run 2 to 6 events. Every rink starts in the A Event, and each event crowns its own winner and runner-up for the prize table.

Losers Drop by Round

A first-round loss drops one event, a second-round loss drops two, or cap it so every loss drops exactly one event. Drop-ins are spread across the draw to avoid early rematches.

Qualifiers and Event Playoffs

Stop each event at 2, 4 or 8 qualifiers and play an event playoff, with every playoff held on the final day if you like. Playoff losses never drop to another event.

Draw Times by Sheet

Set a draw every two and a half hours or type your exact draw times. Games only start at a draw, all sheets together, and each game is labelled Draw 1, Draw 2 and so on.

Printable Draw Sheet

Print the classic draw sheet: draw times down the side, sheets across the top, every game in its cell, then each event’s winner, runner-up and semifinalists.

Live Results for Every Rink

Share one link and every curler can see their next draw, sheet and event on their phone. Scores entered at the club update the draw instantly.

How the Bracket Works

01. Enter Your Rinks and Sheets

Add your teams (up to 128), your sheets and your draw times. Pick how many events you run and how far a loss drops.

02. Generate the Draw

TourneyScheduler builds the A Event, routes every loss to the right lower event, and places each game on a draw and a sheet without double-booking a rink.

03. Run the Spiel Live

Enter scores as games finish. Winners advance and losers drop automatically, teams that decline a lower event can withdraw, and the draw sheet and results stay current.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a bonspiel draw?

A bonspiel draw is the schedule and bracket for a curling bonspiel. Most bonspiels are multi-event knockouts: every team starts in the A Event, and a loss sends the team to a lower event (B, C, D and so on) instead of ending its weekend. Each event has its own winner and prizes.

How do losers drop between events?

By default a loss in round 1 drops a team one event and a loss in round 2 drops it two events, so an A Event round 2 loss goes straight to the C Event. You can also cap drops so every loss moves a team down exactly one event. A loss with no lower event left ends that team’s bonspiel.

Can each event finish with qualifiers and a playoff?

Yes. Choose 2, 4 or 8 qualifiers per event. Each event’s knockout stops when that many teams are left, and the qualifiers play an event playoff. You can hold every event playoff on the last day of the bonspiel.

What is the difference between a draw and an event?

A draw is a time slot when every sheet starts a game together (Draw 1 at 8:00 am, Draw 2 at 10:30 am and so on). An event is a bracket, like the A Event or B Event. Each draw usually has games from several events.

How many teams can a bonspiel have?

Bonspiel draws from 4 to 128 rinks are supported, with presets for 16, 32, 64, 96 and 128 teams. The free plan covers small spiels; larger bonspiels need a paid plan.

Can I print the draw for the club wall?

Yes. The Print Center has a bonspiel draw sheet (draws by sheet with every game) that ends with each event’s results, plus printable event brackets and score cards.
